Welcome to my new blog. I have posted pictures before, but this will give me an opportunity to talk a little bit about the locations and subjects of my photos.
For example, this is a Belted Kingfisher that I was watching last Sunday at the Oxbow in Indiana. This is one of a pair that was fishing...the kingfisher has spotted a fish and is just about to transition into a dive.
I shot this with a Canon 50D with a 300mm lens.
